Providing you with a choice of two interior’s, the SLT and the high spec Denali (see Denali page for details). The Sierra 3500’s cabin is engineered to provide a noticeably quiet interior, driver-centric design and quality appointments that make the new Sierra 3500 a cut above other trucks.

Much of the Sierra 3500 cab structure is made from high-strength steels. It’s a solid structure that contributes to the Sierra’s quiet cabin. A solid foundation of high-strength steel in our fully-boxed frame rails and major frame cross-members, the Sierra 3500 is clearly a respected leader in the heavy Duty truck market.

GMC 3500 Powertrain

The GMC 3500 Sierra brings modern diesel performance to the heavy duty category. A 440hp 1,250Nm 6.6ltr V8 Duramax diesel lives under the hood with the bold intake scoop that pulls the massive amount of cold fresh air this engine needs while it hauls down the road.

Mated to the durable and ever reliable Allison automatic. This includes an automatic gear down feature to assist with braking or old a speed while coasting down a hill. This truck can control the heaviest of loads with ease.

heavy duty Braking

On a truck designed to handle this much load, it’s equally important to control the load safely. To do this, the GMC 3500 uses a 4 wheel disc brake system. This system is standard with Anti-lock system and electronic stability control. Combined they provide a confident and stable platform with comfort and safety. Equally important is the standard equipped Exhaust Brake. Again, a standard feature included to bolster towing safety and control. Working together with the automatic gear down feature, the exhaust brake closes off the turbo to act as an exhaust brake. While engaged this will help slow the vehicle without requiring major braking input from the driver.

3500 Chassis and Suspension

Built on a foundation of a fully boxed, high strength steel chassis and are designed to last a long time. Accordingly the suspension in the GMC provides a luxurious ride with the independent front system. As a result, they could be regarded as the nicest riding trucks available in the Heavy Duty sector.
